Our story

We design and build production-grade software tailored to your business.

Dozen Software has never been just another dev shop. From the earliest conversations in Nashville, the idea was that software should serve people, not the other way around. Over the years, the company grew, evolved, and in 2022 was acquired by Mission Cloud. But watching from the outside, our founders saw the spark dimming. The heart of what made Dozen different was at risk of being lost.

So in 2024, Dozen’s founders made the rare move to reacquire the company. They believed too deeply in what Dozen stood for to let it fade. By then, the team had sharpened into a lean crew of specialists, our own version of “special ops.” Architects. Builders. Creative problem-solvers who thrive on tackling the hard stuff others avoid.

Today, still in Nashville, Dozen is more focused than ever. We exist to deliver software that feels less like code and more like clarity, built for the people who actually use it and made to last.
